ギター弾きの「行政書士開業準備中」

こんにちは、ギター弾きです。
先日、懐かしの中学校時代の同窓会に参加してきました。
まだ、正式に登録が完了していないものの、「行政書士の話題を同窓会でしたらこうなる！」
っていうお話です。

高校のツレらとは結構普段から飲んでいるのですが、中学校のツレはもう十年以上も会っていない人ばかりだったので、非常に楽しみでした。（特に恩師に会うのも）
会のはじめは端っこから自己紹介（近況報告ですね）がなされたのですが、僕ははじめ行政書士での開業は伏せておくつもりでした（まだ正式に開業できない中途半端な時期でしたし、今までの経験で「それ何？」の質問攻めに遭うのがわかっていたからです。）

自分の番になったときにとりあえず、仕事の事には触れず、まだ独身であることと現在、住んでいるところを言ったのですが（住み込んでいる事務所の方を言った）
恩師が「えらい、繁華街のど真ん中に住んどるな～！仕事の関係か！？」と鋭いツッコミを入れてきたのです。
それで「ええ、まあ、そんな感じですね。家ってよりは事務所的に使ってます」と答えたら
「なんや、○○は自営業やっとるんか？」とさらに、突っ込み。
「んー、そんな感じです。個人事業ってやつですね・・」
「お、なんかやり手っぽい言い方やな、どんな事業やってるんや？」
「えーと、今はホームページとかコンピュータに関わることがメインです。今後は法律手続きに関することもしようかなと・・」
と、ここまで言ったときに、間髪いれず恩師が「○○、それ行政書士やろ！？」
「ええ！知ってはるんですか！？」「そら、わかるわ～」と周りの人間に目線をやるとみんなが口々に
「マジで！行政書士なん？○○」「めちゃ、難いんちゃうん！？」「お前らし、ないぞ！」etcと言い出す始末・・・

今までいろんな場面で、行政書士が理解されていなかったにも関わらず、何故か中学校の同級生らは行政書士を知っていたんですね（結構な数）
そっからは何かある度にネタ振りとして（オチとして）、「で、こういう場合、行政書士的にはどうなん？」と振られる始末。
（一応、40字記述回答風に答えれば、なんとなくウケます）

もちろん、受験生や合格者または他士業者のように詳しくはないにせよ（業務範囲とか、具体的な業務はわからなかったようなので）
人によっては、結構知名度のある資格のようで、予定している業務内容を説明してても違和感なく、聞いてくれてました。

ということで受験生の皆さんはネット上の噂や、自分の思い込みは置いておいて
弁護士や税理士ほどではないにせよ、行政書士という職で充分、自信を持って営業できるようになるということを肝に銘じて、モチベーションを落とさないように頑張ってください。
